Recently established in 2017, Tanna.Travel run by the Tafea Travel Information Centre Ltd is a member-based not for profit tourism business providing a booking and information service for visitors to Tafea Province. Any profits that are made will go back into sustaining the Centre and into tourism incentives for Tafea Province.
For a long time local Tafea Accommodation and Tour Operators have been struggling to get their products marketed to the right audiences, to be found in internet searches and to be booked due to a lack of experience in marketing, internet challenges and not having the right direction in place. The Tanna.Travel website and Tafea Information Centre located in the Whitegrasss Airpoirt is an opporunity for these local operators to receive more exposure and for visitors to communicate with a reliable booking service.
The Travel Centre has been supported by; Australian Govt Post Cyclone Pam Recovery Assistance, Australian Volunteers for International Development (AVID), Vanuatu Tourism Board (VTO) and the Department of Tourism (DoT). Tanna.Travel is also sponsored by TVL and by Airports Vanuatu. Tanna.Travel is 100% owned by Vanuatu Tourism Office (VTO) but locally managed by the Tanna.Travel Management Board based in Tanna.

- Marketing assistance for Locally owned Ni-Vanuatu Products
- Assistance in developing a high standard of tourism products alongside TVET and DoT.
- Promoting & Marketing Tafea tourism products via our website and online booking system, at Tourism Events, e.g. Toktok Vanuatu, Toktok Noumea and media opportunities.
- Assisting Tanna.Travel Members increase booking potential and connect into the online market
